Malacañang partially closed for disinfection, says PSG official

The main palace in Malacañang will be closed to give way to disinfection as part of precautionary measures amid the threat of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), says Presidential Security Group Commander Jesus Durante III.

"It’s more on precautionary disinfection and decontamination and will focus on areas frequently used by PRRD," Durante said in a text message to GMA News Online, referring to President Rodrigo Duterte.

"Employees will still report to work tomorrow. Employees will just go out of their room while being disinfected and could go back to work after an hour," he added. — Virgil Lopez/BAP, GMA News
