Philippines' COVID-19 recoveries continue to widen lead over deaths as infections reach 6,087

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 6,087 with 209 new cases, data from the Department of Health showed on Saturday.

For the fourth straight day, however, the number of recoveries outnumbered the number of deaths, 29 against 10, bringing the total number of recoveries to 516.
