Cirrhosis patient weds girlfriend at hospital, dies afterwards

The last wish of a man who had liver cirrhosis came true when he married his girlfriend inside a hospital prior to his death.

According to a 24 Oras report by Tina Panganiban Perez on Monday, James was hospitalized due to liver cirrhosis, a scarring of the liver due to long-term damage.

The doctor had informed James and his loved ones that he did not have much time left.

His final wish was to marry his girlfriend Evelyn, which was granted by their friends and family who brought clothes, flowers, rings, and food to the hospital.

Only a few people were allowed into the hospital to attend the wedding, but the rest of their loved ones were virtually present.
