Teachers to conduct lessons via TV show

Amid the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic (COVID-19), several teachers will start to conduct lessons through a television show starting September as part of the new normal's blended learning scheme.

According to Oscar Oida’s report on “24 Oras,” professional teachers also had to audition for the role of teacher broadcasters. Twenty-seven teacher broadcasters have been hired.

“Dapat may mastery talaga sa subject dahil kinakailangan ang ating delivery kahit naka pikit po ‘yan,” said Mark Anthony Sy, a DepEd department head,.

The teacher broadcasters will teach students from Kinder to Grade 12.

Pam Villanueva, meanwhile, said being hired was a dream come true.

Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
