Pulse Asia: Manny Pacquiao, Isko Moreno top senatorial preferences poll


Senator Manny Pacquiao and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno topped Pulse Asia's latest senatorial preferences survey for Eleksyon 2022.

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, broadcaster Raffy Tulfo, former Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano and Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero followed to round up the top six.

Pulse Asia said Pacquiao and Moreno were tied at first and second with ratings of 54% and 53.7% respectively.

President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter, Tulfo, Cayetano and Escudero are tied for third to sixth places with 47.7%, 46.4%, 46%, and 45.6% respectively.

 


Rounding up the top 12 are former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. with 39.7%; Antique Representative Loren Legarda, 38.8%; Senator Panfilo Lacson, 35.7%; former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, 33.3%; Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, 30.6 %; and former Vice President Jejomar Binay with 30.5%.

The national survey was conducted on June to 16 using face-to-face interviews with 2,400 adult Filipinos.

The poll also used a ± 2% error margin at the 95% confidence level.

Subnational estimates for each of the geographic areas covered in the survey (i.e., Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao) have a ± 4% error margin and also at 95% confidence level. —NB, GMA News
