3 million more Sinovac doses arrive

Three million additional doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the country on Sunday.

The shipment arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 before 6 p.m.

Over 69 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have so far been delivered in the country.

The Philippines officially rolled out its vaccination program on March 1.
Vaccine brands delivered to the Philippines to date include Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and Sputnik V.

The country has so far recorded 2,490,858 COVID-19 cases with 2,292,006 recoveries and 37,405 fatalities. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
