Man enters GenSan radio station, briefly holds DJ hostage

A man believed to be high on drugs entered a radio station in General Santos City and briefly held a disc jockey there hostage.

The man was initially identified as Gabby Batican, radio dzBB reported.

Saturday's incident occurred shortly before noon, the report said.

It added the female disc jockey sustained minor injuries.

A separate report on Bombo Radyo said police managed to neutralize the suspect and rescue the employees of RGMA's Campus Radio.

It quoted Campus Radio FM station manager Ben Tulio as saying two more people, one of them a technician, sustained injuries.
