PNoy to visit TUCP founder's wake

President Benigno Aquino III on Tuesday morning will visit the wake of Democrito “Kito” Mendoza, founder of the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP).

Mendoza died last week at the Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City, reports said.

An advisory sent by Malacañang said Aquino will visit Mendoza's wake at the Associated Labor Unions-Vimcontu Compound, Pier Uno, Cebu City.

Mendoza was the chairman of the Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP), and of Vimcontu Broadcasting Corporation which owns and operates DYLA. —Kathrina Charmaine Alvarez/ALG, GMA News
