Magnitude 5 earthquake rocks North Cotabato

A magnitude 5 earthquake struck North Cotabato on Friday morning, according to PHIVOLCS.

The earthquake which was tectonic in origin occurred at 9:55 a.m.

Its epicenter was located at 06.72° north, 125.05° east - 027 km south and 09° west of Makilala, North Cotabato.

The earthquake was felt at Intensity IV in Kidapawan City and Intensity III in Pikit, South Cotabato

No damage was expected, but PHIVOLCS said aftershocks may occur. —KBK, GMA News
