4 injured as 50 houses were hit by fire in Laguna

Four people were injured in a fire that razed 50 houses in San Pedro, Laguna on Thursday afternoon.

According to a report on GMA News' TV on Thursday, the fire broke out past 2 p.m.

Authorities quickly raised the second alarm, and the fire was put out after an hour.

While investigation on the origin of the fire is still on-going, authorities said the fire may have been caused by a child playing with fire.

Another fire hit the commercial area of Barangay San Antonio, Quezon City at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
