Car passenger killed, driver injured as PNR train crashes into vehicle

A female car passenger was killed while the vehicle's driver was injured after a Philippine National Railways (PNR) train crashed into their car in Biñan, Laguna.

A Sunday report on 24 Oras Weekend, identified the fatality as Mary Ann Valenzuela while the car driver was identified as Joel Pablo.

Pablo was taken to hospital where he was being treated for his injuries.

According to security camera footage, the victims' car had followed another vehicle across the rail tracks when the train slammed into the victims' car.
