Boy dragged by crocodile in Palawan found dead
MANILA, Philippines - The body of a seven-year-old boy attacked by a crocodile in the western Philippine province of Palawan was found Thursday morning by a group of divers, a police report said. The report said the body of Mostaqem Ibrahim was recovered about 10:30 a.m. at Summon River in Ransang village in Rizal town, more or less 10 meters away from the place of incident. It added that the body bore 19 bite wounds and that the boy's parents had claimed the same. The police report said that about 1 p.m. Wednesday, Ibrahim was swimming together with his brother Jadnor when attacked by a crocodile. Jadnor then promptly sought help. Their father, accompanied by concerned neighbors, was able to catch a 14-foot crocodile. However, when they cut open its stomach, no part of the victim's body was found inside. As of posting time, there was no report on the hunt for the crocodile that attacked the boy. - GMANews.TV
