'Ang Pinaka' lists down the most popular animal newsmakers

Last January, the director and producer of the film, ‘Oro’ shown during the 2016 MMFF, found themselves in hot water over a scene that showed a dog being slaughtered for real. The animal rights group, Philippine Animal Welfare Society, or PAWS has filed charges against them for violating the Republic Act 8485 or the ‘Animal Welfare Act of 1998.’

This Sunday, ‘Ang Pinaka’ is rounding up its other furry, feathery and slimy animal friends who, for various reasons, made it to the evening news.
