Paandar on 'State of the Nation with Jessica Soho'

Primetime news on GMA News TV’s State of the Nation has become even more exciting with the addition of the new “Paandar” segment. 
 
"Paandar" fully utilizes GMA News’ recently acquired Digital Mobile News Gathering (DMNG) system, which allows correspondents to report live from almost anywhere. With the DMNG, reporters can deliver stand-ups and continue State of the Nation’s trademark banter with anchor Jessica Soho from inside a truck, a moving tricycle or even while riding the metro rail transit.
 
Since its launch last month, the "Paandar" segment has helped increase the overall ratings of the newscast, encouraging anticipation among viewers and inspiring reporters to be even more innovative in their treatment of the segment. State of the Nation’s ratings jumped from August’s 2.7 household ratings (4% household shares) to September’s 3.4 or 5.4% household shares according to Mega Manila figures from AGB Nielsen.
