Episode airing: June 5, 2012 At 88 years old, Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile is the oldest serving member of Senate, and is fondly called (by whom?) the "Manong ng Senado." His long record of shaping Philippine history began as far back as the Marcos era, but he is best known these days for while presiding over the recently-concluded impeachment trial of the former Chief Justice Renato Corona.

The so-called "Coronavela" was full of action, drama and comedy. But throughout the gruelling five-month-long trial, the Presiding Officer maintained his calm, earning him the admiration and respect of many of his countrymen.
