(1) Three Pinoys executed in China for drug trafficking

Three Filipinos who were convicted of drug trafficking in China have been executed, Vice President Jejomar Binay said.
 
Two of the convicted Filipinos, Sally Ordinario-Villanueva and Ramon Credo, were subjected to lethal injections in Xiamen, while Elizabeth Batain was executed in Shenzhen — all the executions occurred after the convicts were read their death sentence at 9:40 a.m. (Manila time) on March 30.

The Filipino who was convicted on drug trafficking charges has been executed on December 8 in China, Vice President Jejomar Binay said.
 
Binay, who is also presidential adviser on overseas Filipino worker (OFW) concerns, said the 35-year-old Filipino was executed via lethal injection at 12:30 p.m. on December 8 in Liuzhou County, Guangzi. The Filipino who was caught selling a United States military spy plane on online auction and shopping site Ebay was sentenced in November, a report of the Asian Journal said. 
 
A Tampa (Florida) Federal court sentenced Henson Chua of Manila, Philippines to three years of supervised release, Asian Journal said. Chua was also ordered to pay a $13,000 fine for selling the "RQ-11B Raven," a spy drone valued at $175,000.
 
(4) Pinoy couple in UAE gets 10 years for forcing Pinay into prostitution

A United Arab Emirates (UAE) court sentenced a Filipino couple to 10 years in jail  for forcing a fellow Filipino into prostitution.
 
Gulf News said the Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the man, 35, and the woman, 23, for human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of the 27-year-old Filipina early in December. The man was also charged with raping the Filipina, Gulf News added.
 
"He did not use force. He paid me money and I agreed to have sex with him and did so although I told him I didn't want to," Gulf News quoted the victim as saying.
 
The victim also claimed that the woman demanded Dh19,000 (roughly P223,979) if she wanted to quit prostitution and return to the Philippines.
(5) Pinay to be deported for indecent behavior on UAE beach

A 30-year-old Filipina saleswoman and her 21-year-old Lebanese boyfriend face deportation after admitting before a United Arab Emirates (UAE) court that they committed indecent behavior by having out-of-wedlock sex on the beach.
 
According to a report of Gulf News in August, the court sentenced the couple to a one-month jail sentence for having sex at a beach in the Umm Sugeim area.
 
The report said Dubai Misdemeanor Court Presiding Judge Abdul Majid Al Nezamy also ordered the two to be deported after serving their sentence.
 
The judge rejected their bail applications but the primary judgment remains subject to appeal within 15 days, the report said. UAE authorities caught the two committing an indecent act by having sex in a public place.
(6) US court fines Pinoy for ejaculating into co-worker's water bottle

A California court has ordered a Filipino to pay $27,000 for ejaculating twice into a co-worker’s drinking water bottle, a US television station reported in August.
 
The judge ordered Michael Kevin Lallana, 32, of Fullerton, to pay for the victim’s loss of wages and medical expenses, according to news site KTLA. (7) Pinoy, boyfriend jailed for attempted sex near UAE mall August 30, 2011
 
A 28-year-old Filipino and his 24-year-old Pakistani boyfriend were each sentenced to one month in jail for attempting to have sex in a car near a mall in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Gulf News reported in August.
 
Even though the two men, both salesmen, denied the charge and pleaded not guilty, the Dubai Misdemeanour Court sentenced them to one month in jail. Both men will also be deported after serving their sentences.
 
According to the Gulf News report, the police caught the two men getting ready to have sex in the back seat of a car. A Filipina maid in Saudi Arabia is in hot water after being accused of stealing a wedding ring worth SR375,000 (P4.315 million), a Saudi-based news site reported in July.

A Filipina housemaid who was allegedly caught stealing Dh5,000 (roughly P55,000) reportedly confessed to having stolen from her employers' house a total of Dh100,000 (around P1.1 million).
 
According to a report of "Emirates 24/7," the 28-year-old Filipina stole cash from Saeed Rahim, 39, an Iranian manager, and his wife.
 
Saeed said he and his wife noticed they had cash missing but did not suspect the maid with whom they had a good relationship.
 
Last month, the couple decided to mark their money. Days later, he discovered that Dh2,000 was missing from his wallet, and Dh3,000 from his wife's purse.
(10) Pinay caught stealing from Italian employer in Rome

A Filipina domestic helper in Rome was caught stealing from her 85-year-old Italian employer, a report said in July.
 
Ako ay Pilipino newspaper reported that an entrapment operation arranged by the police in Via Montagna delle Rose in Monteverde confirmed that the Filipina stole from her employer.
 
It was estimated that the Filipina maid stole about 80 million euros from her employer, the report said, noting that she had worked in Rome for seven years already.
(11) Pinoy in Saudi jailed for drawing 'dirty finger' on paper

A Filipino factory worker in Saudi Arabia was sent to jail after allegedly drawing on a piece of paper an image of a "dirty finger" with a caption that is reportedly offensive to Muslims.
 
In a statement, the Kapatiran sa Gitnang Silangan (Brotherhood in the Middle East) said the Filipino, identified only as Willie of Laguna in southern Philippines, has been detained in Riyadh since October 14.
 
Eric Jocson, chairperson of the Riyadh chapter of Migrante in Saudi Arabia, said Willie was caught by his supervisor with the alleged controversial illustration. - RJMD/VVP, GMA News
