GMA International: Sandra Aguinaldo goes to Cambodia for I-Witness

GMA News reporter Sandra Aguinaldo tries her hand at backpacking or travelling independently on a shoe-string budget as she travels from Thailand to Cambodia and on to Vietnam for "I-Witness," an award-winning documentary show of GMA News.  Backpacking has become an alternative to the regular form of tourism. Backpackers usually have no fixed itinerary. The journey leaves them with a deeper understanding of the cultures, places, and people.   On Monday, first-time backpacker Sandra Aguinaldo packs her bags to visit the heart of the backpacking universe: Khao San Road , Bangkok.   In part two of her amazing voyage, she crosses the border to Cambodia and on to Vietnam.      Her path takes her to Siem Reap to witness the sunrise at the breathtaking temple of Angkor Wat—the world’s largest religious monument.
