Two Pinays commit 'suicide' in Hong Kong
Two Filipino women died after allegedly committing suicide in Hong Kong earlier this month, a report of the news site "Hong Kong News" said last week. The Filipinas were identified as:
- Aimee Sy, 46, and
- Cherre Mae Genova, 31.
The report said the Hong Kong police classified their deaths as: “person fell from height.” On March 2, the police said Genova was found lying on the floor of No. 19 Bonham Rd in Western District.
She was certified dead at scene by the ambulanceman. Initial investigation revealed that the subject female fell from the above building and no suspicious circumstance was detected,” the Police Public and Relation Branch (PPRB) said.
On March 3, a security guard reported to the police that Sy was found lying on the building platform of No. 6 Tak Hong St. in Hung Hom.
The PPRB said Sy “was certified dead at scene by the ambulance man. Initial investigations revealed that the deceased was a Filipino female named Sy and aged 46; and fell from the above building with no suspicious circumstance detected.” - VVP, GMA News
