47-year-old Pinoy with liver disease missing in Vietnam
A 47-year-old Filipino who has a liver disease has been missing in Vietnam for 10 days now, and his family is calling on the Philippine embassy for help in finding him.
Edwin dela Cruz, was last seen outside the Hoang Hai Long 2 Hotel in District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City on April 20, his sister Chit Viola told GMA News Online on Monday.
Viola said she has already reported the incident to the Philippine Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh and to the Vietnamese police, but their camp has not yet received any assistance from cops to try to locate her brother.
“Kulang talaga sa manpower. Mayroon kaunting mga Pilipino doon na tumutulong maghanap pero siyempre, they also have to go to work,” she said.
She added that their camp has been in touch with the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi, but wishes for immediate police assistance.
A Facebook page has also been already set up calling for help in finding Dela Cruz.
