FALLBROOK, Calif. — The family of a young man who was found dead in the backseat of an SUV in Fallbrook is demanding justice for their loved one, according to News 8. The body of 24-year-old Alvin Bulaoro was found inside a zipped-up sleeping bag in his parked Toyota 4-Runner outside an Albertson’s grocery store last Thursday night. “We want justice,” said Josephine Bulaoro, Alvin’s mother. “We want justice. I am calling for justice for my son.” Bulaoro had been reported missing since Dec. 21, when he left his family home in Fallbrook to go out with a friend in downtown San Diego. That friend told Bulaoro’s family that he never saw Alvin that night. “Between here and San Diego, it could be something happened,” Alvin’s brother John told News 8. Bulaoro never returned, and his cell phone was apparently turned off. His family said detectives informed them a call had been placed from Bulaoro’s phone on Christmas Day from Arizona. Bulaoro’s brother spotted the SUV in the grocery store parking lot last Thursday evening. There were reports that Bulaoro’s vehicle had been spotted in the Albertson’s parking lot on Dec. 29, five days before his body was discovered in the back seat. Investigators are now using surveillance video and witness accounts to try to piece together exactly how long the vehicle had been parked there. “Alvin is very hardworking,” his tearful mother told News 8. “He’s so very helpful and respectful.” Military man Josephine Bulaoro also said her son, who ran an elder care business out of the family’s home, also served as an Army reservist. “‘I’m happy to serve this country’: that’s what he always said,” she told News 8. His family is now pleading for any information that will solve their loved one’s murder. “It’s too very painful to me,” Josephine Bulaoro said. “Justice, justice for my son!” - Filipino Reporter
