Jessica Sanchez returns to American Idol to promote new single
Filipino-Mexican-American and season 11 American Idol (AI) runner-up Jessica Sanchez returned to the AI stage on March 21 to promote her debut single “Tonight.”
“Tonight” is part of Sanchez's debut album “Me, You & the Music,” according to a report from Saksi's hosts Vicky Morales and Arnold Clavio.
“So excited. I'm excited talaga to premiere my song on idol stage where I came from and where it all started so it just means a lot,” Sanchez said.
Sanchez's album contains 11 songs and is scheduled to be launched on April 30.

It's not just Sanchez who's excited about the album. Her fans, especially on Twitterland, are raving about “Tonight” and are requesting it on America's radio stations.

The song, which has a catchy dance theme, was produced in collaboration with RnB singer NeYo who popularized “So Sick,” previously No.1 on Billboard Hot 100.
Meanwhile, Sanchez will also be starring in the new season of Glee, a musical comedy about a group of talented high school kids who join a glee club to find strength and acceptance.
The regular stars include Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Mike O'Malley, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz.
