Three of the hottest Pinoy groups in the Philippines today — Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc-9 and Mocha Girls — shared one stage on March 15 at Manhattan’s Stage 48 and delivered one of the best concert events in recent years.
The award-winning triad have been packing venues and dazzling crowds across the country as part of their North American concert tour.
Their Big Apple stopover was a huge success, described by concertgoers as “sulit na sulit,” that producer Nosaj Entertainment is bringing them back in August, not just in New York City but in major U.S. cities as well.
Last Friday’s show, which also featured popular Brooklyn rapper Mike Swift, pumped up the audience for over two hours of non-stop performance of the chart-topping hits of Parokya, Gloc-9 and Mocha Girls — with special mention to Mocha Uson’s all-female sing & dance ensemble, whose hotness left the male species in total awe that night. - Filipino Reporter
