An overseas Filipina worker (OFW) filed charges against two Kuwaiti policemen and their Egyptian assistant who allegedly raped her inside her home in Kuwait.

The three suspects face charges of rape, trespassing, and abuse of authority, according to a “24 Oras” newscast on Tuesday.

The vicitm, identified only as “Melissa,” said she heard the suspects knocking on her door on the night of June 17. When she opened the door, they asked for her civil identification.

Melissa then went to her room to get the civil ID but she was allegedly followed by one of the Kuwaiti policemen, who locked the door and raped her.

“Pag labas po nilang ganun, nilock ko po yung pinto, tapos 'yun nagbabad na po ako sa tubig dahil hindi ko po matanggap yung nangyaring yun sa akin,” Melissa said.

According to an “Unang Balita” newscast on Wednesday morning, one of the suspects obtained Melissa's phone number and called her up after the incident.

Melissa then quickly reported the incident to a police station where she presented the phone number of the caller, along with a pair of handcuffs left by one of the officers.

The suspects were thus identified and placed under the custody of authorities.

They have already admitted to the crime.
