Eat Bulaga dabarkads bring the house down in Toronto

The Eat Bulaga dabarkads, headed by renowned noontime trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, had throngs of people filling the entire Sony Center for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Canada last April 12, 2014 to witness a rare and extremely entertaining concert.
 

Most of the gang that make up the Philippines’ longest-running noontime variety show were present in Eat Bulaga in Toronto, where GMA Pinoy TV was a media sponsor. Joining TVJ on stage were “Sugod Bahay Gang” Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, “Aleng Maliit” Ryzza Mae Dizon, Pauleen Luna, Ruby Rodriguez, Jimmy Santos, Allan K., Julia Clarete, Keempee de Leon, and the EB Babes.
 
The EB dabarkads joined forces for stunning performances that had the audience up on their feet and actively participating throughout the event. Attendees gamely joined “Trip na Trip” and “Pinoy Henyo”, two signature contests made famous by Eat Bulaga. The crowd “looked up” and did the “Cha Cha” with child wonder Ryzza Mae and laughed out loud as Allan K., Jose, and the rest of the dabarkads delivered joke after joke.
 
More than the prizes and freebies raffled off during the event, the large turnout, cheers, and screams coming from the jubilant audience were the most rewarding elements of the concert. These just prove that even after more than three decades, Eat Bulaga still hasn’t lost its magic that makes Filipinos all over the world happy.
