1st Pinoy music festival to be held in London, Leeds in UK

This weekend, bands from the Philippines will star in what has been billed as the first annual music festival in the United Kingdom, the Philippine Embassy there said.

Dubbed "P Fest UK," the event organized by Finest Workers will feature bands that flew all the way from the Philippines to perform in London and Leeds.

Among the bands expected to take part in the fest are Sandwich, Pedicab, Yano, Squid 9, Kate Torralba, The Diegos, and Top Junk, the embassy said.

Joining them will be Filipino local talents in the UK, it added.

"P Fest UK" will be held Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m. at the O2 Academy; and Sunday in London from 1:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Fiction Ramford.
