No Pinoys among Nepal quake casualties

(Updated 12:59 p.m.) No Filipino was among the casualties of a killer quake that struck Nepal over the weekend, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
The DFA said that as of Sunday morning, it has no report of Filipinos among those killed or injured, radio dzBB's Mao dela Cruz reported.
In a later tweet, the DFA said two Filipino mountaineers in Mt. Everest are safe.
It added there are about 200 Filipinos in Nepal.
More than 1,800 had been reported killed after a magnitude-7.8 quake hit Nepal.
