Pinoy groups win in int’l dance competition in Australia
Filipino dance groups dominated this year's World Supremacy Battlegrounds dance competition in Australia, with groups even tying in rankings under some categories.
University of the Philippines Diliman-based group UPeepz won the gold under the 11-year international dance competition's Monster Crew Division.

The group garnered a total of 81.71 points and bested fellow Filipino group Recab, which placed second with 77.01 points.
Asian Pride, an all-male dance group from Mandaluyong, took home the gold under the international open division, inching ahead of the Marikina-based FMD Xtreme with 72 points over the latter's 71.20.
UP Office of Alumni Relations Director Jose Wendell Capili II congratulated UPeepz for it victory in a post on Facebook.

According to UPeepz's Facebook page, its members are high school to post-graduate students from UP, Far Eastern University, University of Santo Tomas, National University, and other universities.
