Bato leads in overseas votes in partial, unofficial tally

Former Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa is leading the senatorial race in the partial, unofficial tally of overseas votes, according to results shown by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Friday.

Dela Rosa, who has earned 124,361 overseas votes as of 8:29 a.m., is closely followed by physician Willie Ong with 120,600 votes, and former presidential top aide Bong Go with 119,990 votes.

Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, Taguig Representative Pia Cayetano, Senator Cynthia Villar, former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino, former Biliran Representative Glenn Chong, Senator Sonny Angara, lawyer Larry Gadon, and Senators Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III and Grace Poe completed the top 12 in the partial, unofficial overseas vote tally.

Villar and Poe remain the leaders in the Senate race in the overall partial and unofficial count, followed by Go, Cayetano, Dela Rosa, Angara, former senator Lito Lapid, Marcos, Tolentino, former senator Bong Revilla, Pimentel, and Senator Nancy Binay.

More than 1.8 million Filipinos registered to vote overseas. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is expecting 1,771 election returns from abroad. Of this number, the Comelec has received 962.

Mocha Uson leads party-list race in overseas vote

While trailing in the overall tally, the AA-Kasosyo Party-list, whose first nominee is former Presidential Communications Operations Office assistant secretary Mocha Uson, is currently second place in terms of overseas votes.

AA-Kasosyo has so far earned 14,509 overseas votes, following ACT-CIS with 52,181, also according to partial, unofficial results shown by the PPCRV as of Friday morning. 

In the overall race, AA-Kasosyo currently ranks 72nd, according to the partial and unofficial tally. ACT-CIS is currently first by a margin of around 1.5 million votes from Bayan Muna, the group in the second spot.

Meanwhile, OFW Family ranks third so far in overseas votes, followed by Duterte Youth, ACTS-OFW, CIBAC, Bayan Muna, Magdalo, SAGIP, and Magsasaka. —KBK, GMA News
