PH Consulate in LA to continue operations amid wildfires
The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles announced on Monday that it would continue operations despite the ongoing wildfires in Southern California, which have destroyed over 1,000 homes.
Clients with confirmed appointments are advised to proceed to the Consulate as scheduled.
“The public is advised that the consular operations of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles remain unhampered amid the ongoing wildfires,” the advisory stated.
“For those unable to attend their appointments due to the wildfires, they may reschedule and visit the Consulate at a later date when it is safe to do so.”

Meanwhile, several Filipinos and Filipino-Americans affected by the wildfires have appealed for assistance.
