Life goes on for Filipinos in Kyiv amid war

KYIV – Amid the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, a few Filipinos have remained in Kyiv with their Ukrainian partners, supporting them amid uncertainty and continuing to uplift their spirits as they hope the conflict ends soon. 

In September 2025, this GMA Integrated News stringer visited Kyiv on a press tour and spoke with a group of Filipinos in Kyiv and documented their stories at a time when air raids hit Kyiv and Ukraine’s eastern border.
