170 OFWs from Kuwait repatriated to PH

A total of 170 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Kuwait returned to the Philippines on Saturday morning.
According to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Sam Nielsen, the Kuwait Airways plane carrying the OFWs landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at around 7 a.m.
The OFWs were welcomed and assisted by representatives from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to ensure that they undergo the correct process and receive the necessary assistance from the government.
An earlier batch of 200 OFWs from Kuwait arrived in the country on Tuesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA News
