Cardinal Tagle honored for his leadership by NY-based media network

New York-based media network Catholic Faith Network (CFN) has honored Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, with the Religious Leader Award.

“This recognition celebrates his significant contributions to the Church and the use of television and social media in his ministry,” Jesuit Communications (JesCom) said on Facebook.

According to CBCP News, Tagle has collaborated with Jescom for over 20 years on several television and social series.

The CFN spread God’s teachings to the Catholic community and beyond by operating religious and educational Catholic shows in different forms of media.

Tagle served as the Archbishop of Manila before he was appointed as Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, the former name of Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, in 2020. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BAP, GMA Integrated News
