Doc Nielsen helps save coral reefs in Caramoan | Born to be wild

Celebrate Easter morning with your favorite nature and wildlife show.
Doc Nielsen and his team get a taste of summer in CamSur’s world-famous Caramoan Islands. These islands are just some of the country’s marine gems. Part of the famed Coral Triangle where a huge concentration of the world’s most diverse marine life can be found, the Philippines faces many threats when it comes to preserving its vast coral resources. In Caramoan, Doc Nielsen meets a group dedicated to saving the reefs. He joins a mission to restore corals.
Doc Nielsen also helps a community to release endangered sea turtles which residents recently saved from entanglement in a fish net.

Cute cat videos are ever-popular on the internet. Doc Ferds learns that in Japan, they are not just stress-relievers but part of the Japanese people’s everyday lives. Doc Ferds and his team travel to Tashirojima Island where there are more cats than people!
