Culion Special
Part 1
Binansagang Land of the Living Dead ang isla ng Culion.

Nararapat nga bang balik-balikan ang tinagurian ding Land of No Return?

English:
The Island of Culion was coined as the Land of the Living Dead. This is not because of any mystery, but because of its dark history.
One hundred years ago, Leprosy became an epidemic. To control the infection, the infected person was isolated and sent to Culion, a place that served as leprosarium then. No freedom, loathed, and they even became subject of experiment. Lola Maxencia was one of the patients in the Island, she narrated her story. Susan Enriquez and Cesar Apolinario toured the facilities where the leprosy patients who lost their minds were sheltered.
But because this place was isolated for one hundred years, most of Culion Island’s beauty remained hidden; like Malcapuya Island and Ditaytayan Beach that Susan and Cesar explored. Is it really worthy to visit the Land of No Return?
Do not miss I Juander this wednesday, eight o’clock in the evening on GMA News TV. And find out the answer to the question:
