Pinas Sarap Explores More Must-Try Eats in Hong Kong

The food adventure continues as Pinas Sarap drops Part 2 of its Hong Kong food trip, serving up more flavors in its 9th anniversary special. Kara David goes on a food crawl in Sham Shui Po, where she samples a variety of street food—from pig intestines, fallopian tubes to curry fish balls, and more. With only 100 HK$ (around PHP700) in hand, will it be enough to satisfy her appetite? Kara also tries cooking at a traditional dai pai dong, a local eatery known for its open kitchen setup. In this set-up, diners can watch their dishes being prepared in blazing woks. She then visits a restaurant that makes noodles the traditional way by using a bamboo pole to press and knead the egg dough. Kara gives it a try herself and later tastes their signature noodle dishes. Kara also meets a successful Filipina food entrepreneur whose mission is to introduce and share Filipino cuisine with Hong Kong. Don’t miss all these in the 9th Anniversary Special of Pinas Sarap this Saturday at 4:50 PM on GMA 7!
