Solenn Heussaff as a River Goddess on 'Elemento'

 

GMA’s Halloween Series Elemento this Friday … tells the tale of Pandora, the beautiful but mysterious Wawa River goddess, aptly portrayed by Solenn Heussaff.  

 

The Wawa River was once an unspoilt body of water-- but years of exploitation by tourists and the riverside community result in toxic chemicals, garbage and sewage polluting Wawa’s waters.  Alongside the pollution comes a spate of drownings … dozens every year, with firstborn males often falling victim. 
 

Pandora, the river goddess from the town’s folklore, is blamed for these deaths.  In search of the truth, a young river tour guide and environmentalist played by Carlos Agassi investigates … and experiences the shock of his life.
