Can people really be pain-proof superhumans?
Next week, Stan Lee continues his search for the ultimate pain-proof superhumans. Having created so many fictional pain-proof characters, Stan never thought real people could possess immunity to pain, but these two individuals perform staggering feats of pain tolerance that challenge the known limits of the human body.
Evgeny Kuznetsov claims to have the ability to pierce his own flesh without feeling any pain, and somehow, he also doesn’t shed a drop of blood. Host Daniel Browning Smith calls in a trauma wound expert to see what really goes on, as Evgeny withstands the pain of dozens of darts penetrating his flesh.
Matthew Ahmet claims he’s trained his body to tolerate the same level of pain as the ultimate shaolin warriors, and is able to somehow switch off his response to pain. To prove this, Matthew offers to submerge his body in scalding hot water and, for his ultimate test, to push a two-ton truck with a spear right on his throat.
Catch “Human Porcupine” and “Pain Master” on Stan Lee’s Superhumans, airing on August 11, Tuesday night after Saksi, on GMA.
