Get lucky in the Year of the Fire Monkey with these tips

2015 is almost over and what a year it has been! And as welcome 2016, it’s already part of our New Year tradition to prepare charms, fruits or anything that are considered lucky according to the feng shui rituals.
To help us determine what we should do to have an auspicious year ahead, feng shui expert, Master Hanz Cua gives us a list of what we should do to welcome positive vibes into our office and even at home.
Feng shui your office to welcome prosperity and money
People who are born in the Year of the Fire Monkey are said to be skillful. They also have strong financial motivations for enjoying fierce competition this year. So, if you are starting a new business, make sure you choose the right partner or at least know what you should put or not to put inside your office or store.
According to Master Hanz Cua, before this year ends, don’t ever forget to declutter your workspace. He also reminds everyone to remove all the unnecessary things on your table because leaving your old files or papers signifies an unfinished business.

Aside from decluttering your office, Master Hanz Cua, also recommends charms like a monkey king, an inviting cat, and monkey bar to enhance good fortune in the office. And as we welcome the year of the monkey, it is also lucky to turn the lights on as you listen to loud and lively music.

So, how does it helps in eliminating negative vibes at home? Master Hanz Cua explains, “Bakit nga ba 9 in the morning mo siya gagawin? Being the highest number in numerology, 9 din ‘yung oras na malakas ‘yung positive energy kapag gabi ay hindi puwede kasi iba ‘yung lakas ng negative energy. Sisindihan mo siya then clockwise ang ikot, pauusukan mo lahat ng floor ng bahay mo. Habang ginagawa mo ‘yun, dapat iniisip mo na inaalis mo na lahat ng malas,” Master Hanz Cua says.
2. Flush the toilet after doing the ritual

After the ritual, it is also important to flush the toilet because it symbolizes flushing away all the negative vibes that this year has brought to your home.
“Dapat pagkatapos mong mag-insenso, huwag mong kalilimutan na i-flush ang toilet kasi ang ibig sabihin nito, inaalis mo na lahat ng sakit, lahat ng negatibo sa buhay at bahay mo,” Master Hanz Cua shares.
3. Throw away all the old stuff in our house

Master Hanz Cua encourages everyone to throw away all the old stuff in our house to make room for new blessings in the coming year. He also recommends wearing red to attract luck and fortune.
If money has been elusive to you this 2015, don’t worry because this is now the perfect time to roll those kiat-kiats and throw coins inside your house to bring in prosperity. He also adds that we could lay money bills on our beds to attract even more luck.
To prevent our house from misfortunes, it is also important to turn the lights on and play loud music to attract good chi, an energy that permeates everything around us.
Whatever your beliefs are, don’t always forget to keep that positive attitude. Because a person propelled with such motivation will always have a good year ahead! ---BMS/GMA Public Affairs
