In 2007, “Aina" sought Imbestigador’s help regarding an assistant prosecutor who demanded money and sex in exchange for elevating to a trial court a defamation case that she filed in his office. Imbestigador acted without delay. With the help of the CIDG, an entrapment operation was carried out. Gripping scenes ensued following the arrest of the assistant prosecutor. But before Imbestigador could air the story, a Temporary Restraining Order or TRO was served preventing the program from broadcasting the report. A petition to reverse the TRO was immediately filed by Imbestigador to the Court of Appeals. Now, after two years of legal battle, the court finally ruled in favor of Imbestigador.
