“LUKSO LUNDAG LIPAD”

Dokumentaryo ni Kara David

AIRING DATE: OCTOBER 6, 2018

Tinaguriang “The World's Most Famous Swing” ang Nevis Swing sa Queenstown.

English version

Apart from its breathtaking scenery – there is another reason why tourists often visit Queenstown in New Zealand. Being home to numerous extreme and adventure sports – it is considered as the “Adventure Capital of the World.”

It was in 1987 when New Zealander AJ Hackett jumped off the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France – with his feet tied to a special kind of cord. This catapulted bungy jumping into a commercial success which originated in New Zealand. In fact, bungy jumping is actually one of Kara David's bucket list. Will she be able to conquer her fear as she jumps off the Kawarau Bridge at the height of one hundred forty one feet?!

Known as “The World's Most Famous Swing” - the Nevis Swing is also a major attraction in Queenstown. One will definitely feel the rush as it swings at the height of more than five hundred feet. Despite the intense height and speed, the Nevis Swing haven't had any accidents. Will Kara be able to try it --- facing backwards?!

It won't be Kara's first time to go skydiving, but jumping off the plane at fifteen thousand feet will definitely be her highest. In fact, the freefall would last for about an entire minute before the parachute deploys. But fear will quickly turn into amazement as one sets his/her eyes on the magnificent view from above --- the blue skies and the snow-capped mountains of the Southern Alps.

Join Kara David as she displays grit and mental toughness in trying out the most extreme adventure sports in New Zealand. Watch her documentary “Drop Jump Fly” (Lukso Lundag Lipad) this Saturday on I-Witness, after Celebrity Bluff on GMA 7.
