Para sa mga kursong medisina, napakahirap nito dahil sa metikolosong sistema ng gamutan. Kailangan maituro ng tama ang bawat proseso.

Pero paano pag pratical exam na? Paano makikita ng guro kung tama ang sukat ng pustiso; kung tama ang pagturok ng injection, paano ang tamang pagtahi sa sugat? Ilan lamang ito sa mga bumabagabag sa mga estudyante lalo na ng mga magulang. Kaya naman, naglabasan ang mga memes o mga video at pictures kung saan inilalahad dito ang masaklap na realidad sa nakakatawang paraan.

Komedya pero may patama.

Dahil aminado ang ilang mga doctor na ang online classes lalo na sa larangan ng medisina ay hindi angkop. Nararapat talaga ang face to face learning. Kaya’t isinusulong nila ito.

Ngayong Sabado, May 1, samahan si Mariz Umali na alamin ang hamon na kinakaharap ng mga estudyante at guro na magkaroon ng kalidad at kredibilidad sa kanilang mga minimithing propesyon, kahit pa sa online lamang natutuhan ang leksyon.

Education took a different approach to be able to continue under the “new normal”.

Since the government prohibited face to face learning and other forms of physical interaction, going online was the only option left.

Pre-pandemic online courses offered only the basics. But now, even major subjects are taught "virtually".

Learning in the comforts of home may sound ideal but as lessons progress, the horror of online learning reveal themselves.

The struggle is very real as the limitations of technology unfold.

In the field of dental medicine, practical exams are a must. This is one way to assess if students can operate, extract a tooth, inject patients, and so on.

But since both professor and students are coping with poor signal and other technical glitches as well as the lack of ready equipment which used to be available in school laboratories, the reality is sinking: how will both of them keep up? How will students be able to prove themselves after graduation? How good is the quality of education if teaching is done online?
