Mula sa payak na bayan ng Murcia sa Negros Occidental, isinilang ang isang world boxing champion. Hinigitan pa nga niya ang record ni Gabriel “Flash” Elorde bilang longest reigning Filipino boxing champion. At sa kasalukuyan, mayroon siyang limampu’t isang panalo at dadalawa lang ang talo. Siya ang hometown hero ng Murcia na si Donnie “Ahas” Nietes.

Kaya naman ang mga kabataan sa kanilang bayan, maagang sumasabak sa boxing para sundan ang yapak ng Pilipinong kampeon. At sa isang boxing tournament na gaganapin mismo sa Murcia, dalawang magkapatid kasama ang isa nilang pinsan ang magpapakitang gilas. Bukod kasi sa three hundred Pesos na premyo, habol nila na makilala ng mga coach ng Nietes Boxing Promotions na siyang nagsagawa ng palaro.

From the small town of Murcia in Negros Occidental rose a Filipino world boxing champion. He surpassed even the record of the great Gabriel “Flash” Elorde as the longest reigning Filipino boxing champion. He amassed a record of fifty one wins with only two defeats.

He is the fighting pride of Murcia – Donnie “Ahas” Nietes.

As they try to follow the footsteps of their hometown hero, children from Murcia step into the ring at an early age. And in an upcoming boxing tournament to be held in their town, two brothers and their cousin take on the challenge. They are not just after the cash prize but also the attention of the coaches of Nietes Boxing Promotions, the tournament organizers.
