Kiong Hee Huat Tsai mga Kapuso! At ayon sa Chinese Zodiac, ang taong 2019, tinaguriang Year of the Earth Pig. Kaya naman para ulanin tayo ng swerte ngayong taon, mga Chinese Pork Dish ang ating pagsasaluhan!



Kung swerteng Chinese pork dish ang pag-uusapan,  marahil ito na ang pinaka buwenas- ang Roasted suckling Pig! Gawa kasi ito sa isang buong baboy! Ang Chinese dish na ito na nahahawig sa lechon nating mga Pinoy, sumisimbolo raw sa completeness and auspicious sign o ‘yung tinatawag na future success. Pinaniniwalaang swerte naman ang pork dumplings dahil sa crescent shape nito na nahahawig sa buwan at hugis ng sinaunang pera ng mga Chinese. Ang Sweet and sour pork at red braised pork belly, maswerte rin dahil sa sarsa nitong kulay pula na nagtataboy daw ng malas.

Happy Chinese new year, Kapuso! Year 2019 is known as year of the Earth Pig in the Chinese Zodiac. We will show you the lucky Chinese pork dishes that you can serve in this occasion.

When we speak of lucky Chinese pork dishes, Roasted suckling Pig is said to be the most popular, because this is made from a whole pig. This Chinese dish is similar to Filipino’s lechon, and this symbolises completeness and auspicious sign or future success. Pork dumpling is also considered as lucky food because of its crescent shape that is similar to the shape of the moon and the old Chinese money. The sweet and sour pork and red braised pork belly, are also considered lucky because of their red color that drive away bad luck.
