Tunay na Buhay ni Dolphy

'Hari ng Komedya', 'Idolo ng Masa' at ang natatangi sa kasaysayan ng buong mundo na unang nakatanggap ng award bilang best actor at best actress sa iisang pelikula na 'Markova' sa  Brussels International Film Festival. Sino nga ba namang pinoy ang hindi makakakila kay Dolphy na anim na dekadang namayagpag sa mundo ng pelikula at telebisyon?  Nagsimula sa patinda-tinda ng mani at butong pakwan sa mga sinehan sa Maynila noong dekada trenta. Nagpursige, naging theater actor, narinig sa radyo, naging patok sa mga pelikula at kalaunan nanging isang sikat na personalidadsa 'di na mabilang na television shows. At sa kanyang pagpanaw, sariwain nating isa-isa ang naging buhay ni Dolphy sa likod at harap ng camera, sa mga taong nakasalamuha niya, naging parte ng kanyang buhay kasama ang kanyang mga mahal buhay. Every Filipino knows Dolphy who for six decades have lorded it over the TV and film industry in the Philippines. He started as a vendor of peanuts and watermelon seeds in cinema houses in the 1930s.
