Tunay na Buhay ni EFREN ‘BATA’ REYES
 
Tinagurian siyang "The Magician” at “The Man From a Different Planet", dahil sa pambihira niyang talento sa larangan ng bilyar. Sa murang edad, namulat siya sa kahirapan. Natuto siyang magbanat ng buto bilang bantay sa bilyaran ng kanyang tiyuhin. Dito na rin siya nahasa at natuto ng bilyar na magpapatanyag sa kanya kalaunan.  Siya si Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes, kampeon sa billiards na nagkamit ng di-mabilang na mga parangal sa loob at labas ng bansa. Kabilang sa mga parangal na ito ang “One Pocket Hall of Fame” na prestihiyoso sa larangan ng billiards na iginawad sa kaniya noong 2004.
 
 
 
He has been called ‘The Magician’ and ‘The Man From a Different Planet’ because of his amazing skills in billiards. At a young age, he led a hard life. He worked as an assistant in his uncle’s billiard hall, where he also honed his skills in billiards that would later bring him fame and fortune. He is Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes, billiards champion who has received countless awards here and abroad. Among these honors is the ‘One Pocket Hall of Fame’, a prestigious award in the field of billiards he received in 2004.

Isa siya sa 25 greatest players ng PBA. Nakilala siya sa kanyang halos walang mintis na perimeter shooting at fast-paced na footwork sa loob ng hardcourt. Siya si Jojo Lastimosa o ‘Jolas’ sa kanyang mga tagahanga. Taong 1988 nang pasukin niya ang mundo ng professional basketball sa koponan ng Purefoods TJ Hotdogs, kasabay nina Alvin Patrimonio at Jerry Codinera. Dito itinanghal siyang Rookie of the year at di naglaon, nalipat sa koponan ng Alaska kung saan siya pinakamatagal na naglaro.

He is among the 25 Greatest Players of the PBA. He became famous for his enviable perimeter shooting skills and fast-paced footwork in the hardcourt. He is Jojo Lastimosa, or ‘Jolas’ to his many fans. He joined professional basketball in 1988 under Purefoods TJ Hotdogs along with Alvin Patrimonio and Jerry Codinera. He was awarded ‘Rookie of the Year, and soon was transferred to the Alaska team where he played for several years.
