A magnitude-5.3 earthquake shook Sarangani province in Davao Occidental on Saturday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
In its earthquake bulletin, the PHIVOLCS indicated that the quake struck at about 9:32 a.m. with its epicenter located 323 kilometers east of Sarangani.
The quake had a tectonic origin and had a depth of 50 kilometers.
PHIVOLCS is not expecting any damage or aftershocks from the Saturday morning quake. —LBG, GMA News
