Nationwide quake drill to be held tomorrow, Nov. 14

The Philippine National Police on Thursday reminded the public to be "mindful" of a nationwide simultaneous quake drill to be held Friday, Nov. 14.
 
In a tweet, the PNP Directorate for Police Community Relations gave six pointers to follow during the drill.
 
These include:
 
  • Don't panic
  • Drop
  • Cover and hold
  • Find a way out
  • Keep distance from buildings
  • Go to assembly point
 
 
State-run Philippine Information Agency said the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council had set the date for the fourth-quarter nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill (NSED) for 2014.
