Whale shot and killed in Quezon to be preserved in museum
A whale that apparently died from gunshot wounds then washed ashore in Quezon province on Tuesday will not be buried but will instead be preserved in a local museum.
The municipal agriculture office in Calauag plans to take and preserve the whale's bones, GMA News stringer Peewee Bacuño reported Thursday.
The whale had died Wednesday after being stranded in Calauag, Bacuño earlier reported:

Bacuño earlier tweeted that the whale sustained several gunshot wounds:
