Pisay now accepting applicants for Grade 8-9

According to an announcement from the Department of Science and Technology, Philippine Science High School is now accepting applicants for Grades 8 and 9.

Applicants should have finished Grade 7 or 8 in academic year 2014-2015. The deadline for the submission of applications in April 28. The date of the examinations is May 12.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Filipino citizen with no pending application as immigrant in any foreign country
Belong to the upper 5% of their class or have a grade of 85% and above in all subjects
Character rating of at least Very Satisfactory or its equivalent
Pass the qualifying examination in each of the following: Mathematics, Science, and Communication Arts (English)
