LOOK: Designer proposes Int'l Flag of Planet Earth

 

 

It's not quite the United Nations or Star Trek's United Federation of Planets, but it does look noble enough for the bill.

 

A designer has proposed what could be the flag representing a united Earth government - possibly for exploring new worlds, The Verge reported.

 

Oskar Pernefeldt made mockups of the planetary flag in a project titled "The International Flag of Planet Earth."

 

Mockups show how the proposed flag would look in a space suit - or planted on another planet.

 

His design is largely blue representing the water that covers Earth; and seven white intersecting circles possibly representing the seven continents.
